    '08 Nox doors wont lock/unlock

Sometimes....... when you are stuck its worth it to take it in just to have the issue diagnosed. I hate doing it, but sometimes the fee is worth the time savings.

    Muffle subwoofer ?

Yes i would agree, i know my sub has four small rubber feet that raise it 2 inches off the floor, my neighbor below never hears the bass. I would also say to keep it out of a corner if possible.

    '08 Nox doors wont lock/unlock

Hey Paul, Have you checked the fuses for the door locks? I believe there is also a relay for the door locks as well. I would check those first before getting too involved in specific door lock parts. anyone else have any thoughts?

    Muffle subwoofer ?

Anything to reduce reverberation and vibration, i think more than anything vibration. It could certainly help, reducing the surface area that the sub touches the floor with ultimately reduce vibration.

    Muffle subwoofer ?

I would say if the sub has a port plug it with cloth, or you could also wrap the whole thing in a blanket, you could also try raising it away from the floor.

    Front brake work

For the fronts the only special tool is a caliper compressor. The caliper bolts all all the newer cars are regular bolt heads no more stupid torque or allen heads. Much easier than the older days! Don't forget the no brake squeak liquid.

    transmission change

I don't do much driving in hilly terrain or do alot of hard driving on my vehicle so personally i would go with the recommended 97,500 miles in my owners manual. Obviously if you drive hard or do alot of hilly terrain i would change it sooner.
