My guess is a bad fuse. Not completely or wasn't burned through, but might be now. The manual should have a page that shows all the fuses and what they do. Often there is an extra fuse in the fuse box. If not pick one that is same amp and replace. See if that solves your problem.
Quick Google search: https://www.carid.com/2010-chevy-equinox-replacement-steering-wheels/ I can't imagine messing with the airbag and all that but I suppose it isn't that difficult. I saw a few You tube videos changing the wheel.
2019 LT, we haven't experience any steering problems. Looks like problems since 2012 with multiple investigations. Supposedly there is a fix at the dealer, it would be nice to know what it is...
Daughter bought new 2019 LT, zero problems- never had to bring back to the dealer for warranty issues or repair. Had Chevy 2002 Avalanche for 17 years, too, and still going fine when I sold it. Our only concern is that we didn't anticipate two more kids at the time. So her family of 5 has a...
Maybe it is the place where you relieve pressure when changing transmission fluid. If it is, should have plug in there. Maybe this will indicate where or not this is a correct assessment. My best guess is that your oil filter not tight and leaking down or a plug not tight. It's probably...
My daughter's 2019 Equinox has remote start, but it seems to work from time to time. Don't quite understand why it usually doesn't work. On my 2022 Escalade, its just hit the remote start button twice. As for your Premier, I'd look at setting options as implied by Spartanfool.
Have you checked the air intake hose at the back of engine. On a 2019 model, the mechanic failed to hook it up and driver experienced those problems and could not exceed 55 mph. Still under warranty and on a trip, dropped in to a Chevy dealer, who found the problem and hooked it back up. My...
Oil on the dipstick? You make it sound like it had a trace of oil. You start it up and the oil in the pan circulates so reading would be less. Not good to ever have oil that low.
I wouldn't even start the engine with a trace of oil. Since it's already "dry," go buy the oil and filter and...
I had a Lincoln MKT, 2013, with dual sensors for the twin turbo engine. It was poorly designed with only one timing chain to handle everything. Ford rather quietly strengthened all the timing chain components as well as made the engine 2 timing chains. Then the engine was terrific. Meantime...
Ever since I helped my daughter buy this car, I've had only one problem with it. The location of the light switch. Often when I get in or out of the Equinox, my knee hits and changes the switch from its setting, which we want on automatic. It usually turns the switch to on.
It's similar to...
