My previous car was a 2019 Ford Escape. The windshield wipers had a "courtesy wipe", after wipers turned off for 2 seconds it gave one more wipe pass. It always makes me laugh thinking about the brainstorming session when the Ford engineers named this process -- a courtesy wipe.
