Just talked to my dealer and he told me that GM has NOT released this update to my VIN# at this time. I purchased the 25 RS in November. Not a problem because I have a opener on my visor that works very well.
Travel update. I just arrived in LA after a 1871 mile drive from Iowa. I drove Interstates 29, 40 and 15 as well as some 2 lane highways getting the Equinox on some flat roads and through mountains. I reset the trip odometer before I left. It shows that I averaged 29.4 miles per gallon over...
I have had my Equinox RS for 3 months as well and NO the MPG does not stack up to my 2018 Equinox Premier. I lost 2 MPG on the highway with the new RS. The new Equinox is one tenth of an inch longer, one tenth of an inch taller, two and three tenths of an inch wider and weighs 84 pounds LESS...
My 25 is not as good as my 18 was. I’m driving the same roads in the same weather conditions and I have lost 3 or 4 MPG from the 18 AWD to the 25 AWD. I don’t drive aggressively because I don’t need to get anywhere in a hurry. I drive the posted speed limit. I know that the 25 is a few...
Update 12/18/24 - Went to the dealer today and received the update. Actually there were 5 updates applied today that took 2 hours to complete. You might want to check with your dealer to see if you need them.

I drove the ‘18 AWD to 122000 miles...
I had the same thing happen to me yesterday. Infotainment blanked followed by the main DIC. Out for 2 seconds than reappeared as if nothing was wrong. I have a 2025 with 1250 miles on it. I will report to NHTSA.
I loved the leather and the Bose and my 3rd gen equinox. I’m a retired band director with a bit of a hearing loss - so the sound system was not a deal breaker since I can’t hear anything in the high range anyway. I have not one bit of buyer’s remorse though. I really like the newest generation.
I'm in my early 70's and the current owner of a 25 Equinox RS. I went from a Pontiac Torrent to a 2018 Equinox Premier with every option in the spring of 2019. I live in the midwest and have family in LA and made 12 trips there over the past years putting 122,000 absolutly care-free miles on...
