My 2016 manual lift gate won’t open every time. This is an intermittent problem. It will work just fine for days and then won’t work unless I try locking and unlocking the doors several times. I had the exact same issue on my 2013 Equinox and replaced the switch, but that didn’t help. Wound up...

It’s the vent tube for the A/C water drain. Not too bad to get to and clear. Look on YouTube for a video on where it’s located on the firewall. Once you get to it, it’s 2 minute job. I found out that it was a big bug that climbed in it.

Happened to me as well. Turn off car and fan kept running. Turn out to be a temperature sensor. Luckily my mechanic fixed for just around $100.

Just sold my 2013 with 153,000. Ran pretty good until the last few thousand miles. My 2016 just hit 70,000 no problem so far.

Happened in my 2013 too. It’s crazy, but the fix was taking the car up to 70 had braking real hard!
